Founder & Mortgage Broker
Mortgage Base (previously named Denja Financial) was founded by Ty who has been in the mortgage industry since 2004 where he started his career working for NAB in the client services division. This laid a solid foundation and understanding of how important it is to deliver an unparalleled client experience and to always look for ways to go above and beyond for all our clients.
Ty has held various roles in the mortgage industry including many years at CBA, Resimac and Resi Home Loans.
With a wife and 2 active boys, a growing investment property portfolio, and lots of experience in buying, building, and selling houses and refinancing home loans, he can draw on his personal experience to guide his clients to the best outcome possible.
Ty is known for his passion to exceed his clients’ expectations and always be there to guide them through all the stages of the finance journey. His numerous 5-star reviews are proof of how much his clients value his time and expertise.
ERIC TU
Mortgage Broker
Eric brings a wealth of business experience to Mortgage Base, having run a very successful cafe of his own previously. His entrepreneurial background equips him with a strong understanding of finance and customer service.
Now a mortgage broker, Eric is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of securing loans. Outside of work, Eric enjoys staying active and keeping fit, applying the same energy and commitment to his professional and personal pursuits.
Natasha Drew
Client Services Manager
Natasha has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years in all areas of mortgage broking and brings a wealth of knowledge, both with the application process and post settlement support.
She works hand in hand with Ty & Eric to provide a seamless service to our clients throughout the application process, and always strives to ensure your loans settle on time as smoothly as possible.
MICHELLE MCKID
Parabroker
Michelle started her financial career working with credit unions in member service and has worked within the finance industry for the past 14 years. During her time within the industry Michelle has held many different roles including Occupational Health and safety committee chairman, branch supervisor, member service officer and most importantly Mortgage Broking.
Michelle understands the importance of establishing a strong relationship with her clients especially going the extra mile when required. Michelle understands that your mortgage is your biggest asset and prides herself in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional customer service as well as the right lender product to suit their needs.
Michelle is lucky to live in the beautiful Blue Mountains with her wonderful husband, four stepchildren and two fur babies. Michelle takes interest in painting with many mediums as well as her love of history.
